Abarth Fiat 750 Zagato

Carlo Abarth's 750 Zagato GT first appeared at the Geneva Motor Show in 1956 and immediately caused a slorm. The pretty lillle coupe and roadster were based on the Fiat 500's running gear, but powered by a luned version ol the Abarth 747cc engine in high-compression form, delivering 44bhp. Later versions were available with a twin-cam head that made enough power to take the fealherweight sports car to a lop speed of 118mph and on to success in motor sport, including a class win on Ihe Mille Miglia in 1957. Highly prized.
