Bradford Classic Car Event 2014.
A great day in Bradford with a huge number of people and a lot of excellent examples of classic cars. The William Morrison delivery van looked exceptional as did many others. I used to own a second hand van exactly like the Telecom van you see in this video many years ago. The E type Jag, some minis in stunning condition, brilliant Triumphs. A full range of rally cars and even one or two more recent customised vehicles too. Seeing the old Ford Escort Mk 1s and 2s certainly brought back memories of when I was a kid.
Unfortunately, I didn't get chance to track down the winners of the show event to ask them about their cars. Perhaps if I can make it next year, I will find out more.
The Lord Mayor of Bradford said a few words and handed out the prizes for the winners of the cars on show.
It was good to see people of all ages visiting the event. As Jonny explains in the video, next year is promised to be a fantastic event.

Not to forget the excellent example of the London Route Master London bus I feature at the beginning and end of the video. Thanks to the passionate owner who shared some stories with me of his travels in it. I believe he said he keeps it in a museum in York.
