1969 Dodge Daytona - Stock #5935 - Gateway Classic Cars St. Louis

Stock #5935

For sale is a beautiful 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona. Dodge came out with the Daytona for the sole reason of winning NASCAR races. The car was created by adding an aerodynamic nose and large rear wing to the existing Charger body. Doing so created an incredibly aerodynamic shape with a very low 0.28 drag coefficient. Dodge's slippery new shape worked, as the Daytona was the first NASCAR to break 200 MPH. This Daytona is sporting the 375 horsepower 440 CID V8 which puts out a massive 480 pound feet of torque. Backing the 440 is a 727 automatic transmission and stout 8 3/4 rear end with 3.23 gears. The car underwent a full restoration in 2006 and looks like new. This Daytona is finished in its original T5 Copper with white wing. This car is sporting its original metal nose cone and wing rather than fiberglass reproductions. The tan interior is in beautiful condition and sports one of the neatest gauge arrangements you will find. The car is optioned with AM radio with 8 track, power steering, power brakes, seat belts, vinyl interior, and Magnum 500 wheels with raised white letter radial tires.
