Vehicle Description

1957 CHEVROLET 210

Out of all the classics we have sold over the years the 1957 Chevrolet is consistently one of the most popular cars we list. These cars are truly icons and one of the most recognizable classic to ever be created. From film to television and more nothing says 1950's like the classic 57. This car is a very nicely done car that not only looks great but was set up to be a great driver as well. Top of the line components were used throughout with no corners cut at all. The body is all rust free and very straight. It is coated in a Silver metallic paint that has a great shine and smooth finish. The car has the Bel Air trim package and all of the stainless, badges and chrome are in great shape. All the glass is tinted and is in great shape as well. The car is done in a restomod style but the only hint of that from the exterior is the very cool painted to match 17 inch American Racing wheels.

Pop the hood and you will not that original 283 is long gone. The entire drivetrain/suspension has been redone to be reliable and strong so that the car can be driven anywhere your heart desires. There are only 500 miles on the new motor and transmission so there should be no problems other than typical maintenence for many years to come. A new Smeding Performance Hot Rod 383 Chevy stroker motor now gets those tires spinning and was dyno tested at 486hp and 465 lb torque. It received the extreme upgrade custom head work, an Edelbrock 750cfm carburetor, ceramic coated headers and a ton of billet/chrome add ons. Paired with the headers is all new exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. It has zero heat issues and is kept always running cool due to the new aluminum radiator with 3300 cfm electric fan and shroud. Backing up the motor is a 10 bolt positraction rear end and 200R4 stage 3 transmission with 2500 stall converter that is rated for 700hp so if you decide to build up the motor a little more you can do so without worry. We have written about how it runs and it runs great so lets talk about how it rides. Smooth is the one word that comes to mind and that is due to the tubular front suspension with front stabilizer bar, 2 inch drop spindles and adjustable coil over shocks. In back it has a rear drop leaf springs kit and air shocks. This all greatly improves the ride and is set up so it can be adjusted layer on as needed. Other upgrades include 4 wheels power disc brakes and the car also received a new gas tank with new 3/8inch line all the way to the motor. The battery on the car has been relocated to the trunk which really helps to clean up the look under the hood. A power shut off switch was added to help save that batteries power and should it ever die down you can easily jump it off using the added jumper terminals in the trunk.

The interior looks really sharp being totally redone in Grey ultra leather. The split bench seats are very comfortable and show little to no signs of wear. The dash pad was redone in Grey ultra leather as well to match. Classic gauges were used in the original gauge pods which creates a cool stock but aftermarket look. A tilt column sits in front of the driver and is topped off with a nicely polished out Grant steering wheel. A Vintage Air (Gen-IV) air conditioning and heat system has been installed and works with no issues. The way the stereo was done is very cool because it has that vintage look but is actually a new custom Autosound Concours electronically turned AM/FM receiver with CD changer controller and USB player. It delivers a great sound through aftermarket stereo speaker. Additional features of note on the inside are the Lokar billet gas pedal assemble and B&M Quicksilver ratchet shifter mounted to the floor. The trunk of the car is very cleanly done in matching upholstery.

This car was really well done and is ready for a new home!
