Vehicle Description
1957 Cadillac series 62 convertible is a rare factory correct original. The body is lazar straight and never touched or bumped, it is perfect. The engine is a 365 ci, (overhauled about 15,000 miles ago), with a 4 speed Hydramatic transmission, super smooth and rides exactly like Cadillac's were intended. The chrome is in excellent condition and all 5 of the optional factory Sabre Wheels have been re-chromed and re-sealed. The carbureator has been rebuilt and the original brakes rebuilt with the brake shoes arced to the drums. New gas tank, newly redone ignition system and exhaust manifolds machined to the block. Correct T-3 headlamps and all working lights and electrical, including the clock. The original radio was replaced with another original radio modified to receive FM and XM radio. The XM receiver is in the glove compartment. The oridinal radio goes with the car. The remote access trunk will have a spare new pull down motor and release solinoid. The convertible top is Haatz canvas and the top mechanism works perfectly. Interior is black and white leather by Lewis Jenkins. Owners manual, convertible top manual and factory repair manual come with the sale.
