Vehicle Description
1957 Tropical Turquoise Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door "Post Sedan", with great 60s nostalgia appeal. The exterior has very nice paint with a few era correct modifications, the hood rockets have been removed and filled, it has chrome 15" Cragar SS wheels and BFG raised letter TAs with 225R/70/15 on the front and 255R/60/15 and tasteful pin striping. The Turquoise and white interior has recently been reupholstered with new seat covers, door panels, carpeting and a few custom touches, it also has an AM/FM radio with cassette, and a column mounted Sun Pro tach with a 14" Grant custom steering wheel and a Hurst 4 speed shifter. The engine is believed to be a NOM 283 ci. 270hp solid lifter SBC, which is backed up by a 4 speed manual transmission. The engine compartment is very clean and nicely detailed it has received a few cosmetic and performance enhancements; chrome valve covers and air cleaner, a Weiand aluminum intake, a Holley Avenger double bowl carb, ceramic coated headers, a Mallory Unilite ignition system and an alternator. The frame and floor pans are very solid and clean. This is a great cruise night car, it's a very popular color and has a nice stance with the little and big tires and it has a great sound.
