Just arrived at JD Classics.
1962 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 - 3.8 Litre LHD Roadster, Opalescent Gunmetal with red hide and black hood.
Constructed on 22nd January 1962 and delivered to North America via Jaguar Cars of New York and dispatched to its first owner, R A Finishing' on 6th February 1962.
Discovered by an Italian collector 6-7 years ago. A total dismantle and full restoration commenced a year later. Every item was meticulously restored or renewed to original 1962 factory specification.
One of the best period colour specifications with extra attention paid to superb panel fit throughout.
Currently undergoing full JD servicing and final detailing.
This early E-Type Roadster would make an ideal candidate for various JD Classics Sport upgrades, including our newly released 5 speed JD Sport gearbox.
