This car is a real head-turner and runs great. It had been restored by a previous owner before I purchased it from a dealer in October 2011. It has not been hot rodded. The previous owner appears to have kept the car stock with the exception of converting the electrical system to 12 volt negative ground, and adding "Red's Heads" and a dual exhaust. My mechanic gave it a thorough going through to correct any problems. A couple of months and $8,000 later I had new seals, new correct shock absorbers, repaired and adjusted brake rods (mechanical brakes), disassembled and reassembled the transmission and rear end, 12 volt conversion fixed properly. all gauges operational (except trip odometer), fog lights connected and functional with an under dash switch, the top mechanism was repaired and adjusted, hand throttle repaired and made functional, and various missing nuts and bolts replaced. The Ford Phaeton runs and drives very well and turns heads whenever I take it out for a drive.

This car was shown at the 2014 Swigart Museum meet and won second prize in its class.
