This Corvette is heavily optioned and is all original aside from one repaint in the original Goodwood Green with white Stinger. The odometer shows 28,488 and is believed to be original considering how well preserved the car is, however cannot be verified and is listed as unknown. Powered by the original Tri-Power 427 producing 400 horsepower and backed up by the original M-21 Muncie close ratio 4-speed. Almost every box was checked when this car was ordered from the St. Louis plant. In addition to the stout Tri-Power 427, A/C was checked(rare), Speed Warning indicator, Headrest, Telescopic steering, Power steering, Power brakes, Side exhaust, and an AM/FM radio. Original tank sticker comes with the car! A/C is without question the most sought-after option on this car. The 400 horse Tri-Power was the most powerful engine available with Air Conditioning. The 435 horse L-71 and 430 horse L-88 were both high RPM solid lifter engines and revved too high for the A/C compressor. Secondly, when selecting the L-88, you really wouldn't care about an option like A/C, this was a showroom ready race car. The 400 horse Tri-Power you see here is also a more street friendly engine when compared to its big brother.
