Up for sale in our Tampa showroom is stunning 2007 Cadillac CTS-V. This model first appeared in 2005. For our car's model year 2007, the engine size was increased from 5.7 liters to 6.0 liters courtesy of the LS-2 V8 used in the standard 2005 Corvette. This increase in size didn't change the HP rating or torque rating, 400 and 395 respectively, but did offer increased responsiveness from the engine. Beginning in 2006 the rear differential was strengthened to cope with the power delivered to it from that corvette engine. Changing gears in the CTS-V is done via a stout TREMAC T56 six speed manual into a 3.73 GETRAG limited slip rear axle. These specifications and others helped the 2007 CTS-V accelerate to 60mph in 4.6 seconds and cover the mile in 13.1 @ 109 mph. Countering the massive forward thrust of that Corvette 6.0 litre V8 are 13.97" disc brakes up front, and 14.37" discs in the rear slowing this autobahn express from 60mph to zero in 110 feet, per published reports, of the time. All this performance is combined with Cadillac luxury, such as, BOSE Stereo, High performance luxuriously bolstered bucket seats and leather upholstery with suede inserts. This 2007 Cadillac CTS-V also features Chromed factory wheels, Rear Spoiler, and performance enhancing stiffened motor mounts.
