Vehicle Description
1966 was the first year for the?427ci?Big Block. This 66' Corvette is two owner California unrestored Survivor. This car was owned by two previous owners before being purchased by its current collectors. The previous owner was a Chevrolet dealer that had kept the car in his possession since 1975 while only putting on 1,300 miles on the car during that period. This is a perfect candidate for any survivor or preservation judging, especially the "Preservation Class" at Pebble Beach. This car has a guaranteed "Original" motor and?driveline, and original trim and vin tags. The Original Motor has been verified by Kevin Mackay of Corvette Repair. This car is a true "Unrestored" survivor with 42,000 original documented miles. Recent Service and judging. CERTIFIED ORIGINAL OEM MOTOR,?DRIVELINE, TRIM AND VIN TAGS. If you look closely this is a great example of an original car. You can see the inspection marks on some of the suspension components, the masking tape on the frame. The original?weatherstriping?and glue are great examples of what originality is. This car was recently judged at Bloomington Gold in 2016.?
