Back in the ’80s there was a TV series called Stingray that featured actor Nick Mancuso and a black C-2 Corvette coupe. I was so impressed seeing that Stingray that I promised myself someday I would own one like it.
Well, 30 years later, I found my dream car in California were it lived its entire life. I bought it from its second owner, who had done a body on restoration several years earlier.
It is a great car with a 427 built motor / Muncie 4-speed / posi-rear / sidepipes / knock-off wheels / tinted glass.
It has won a number of trophies and always is a crowd pleaser.
I was able to get the best license plate that describes the car: “BBBBAD.”
