Vehicle Description
The 1931 Chrysler CG LeBaron dual-cowl phaeton, qualifies as one of the most beautiful cars ever designed. The custom line dual-cowl phaeton by LeBaron has a flip up rear cowl, with dual cockpits and rolled pleats of leather around the top edge of the body. The v-windshield and LeBaron factory designed trunk make this car, one of the great designs by LeBaron. The restoration was carried out a number of years ago, but still would be competitive at any Concours event. The Chrysler CG custom LeBaron’s are incredible designs, while also having some of the best mechanical engineering of its day. With hydraulic brakes, a Sychromesh transmission and floating motor mounts, powered by a 384 cubic-inch inline Red Head-eight engine, this car rated at 125 horsepower has plenty to propel this car to over 100 mph and will go 0-60 miles per hour in 20 seconds. The Chrysler collectors rate the LeBaron dual-cowl phaeton as one of the greatest Chrysler’s ever built.
