She's Real Fine My 409! This is a rare find in Arizona. 1962 Impala SS 425HP 409. Factory Dual-Quad 409 4-speed, did I say 409?

This is a survivor car that never needed a complete restoration. Clean straight body car has NO RUST, only one paint job in its lifetime. The odometer reads 54,000 miles and the reason it's believable: The Eighty-Year-Old previous owner lost his license to drive and it sat in his garage for the last eight years, he never wanted to sell, But reality set in, needless to say, he was very sad to see the car leave.Take a look at the photo when the dusty Impala was rolled out of his garage -Where it stayed for the last 8 years of its life. The last gent who owned the car bought it when he was 53 years old.

The engine is not correct: the block numbers matched to a 1963. A GM dealer replaced the block, who knows when. The numbers show its a 425 HP 409. The heads are 409 425HP, the intake manifold and carbs look original as do most all components. It still has the original Delo Reamy Generator. Exhaust manifolds all the way to the larger fuel lines. Its obviously been garaged all its life -The Arizona Sun has not baked the dash, in fact, the dash is clear with no cracks!

A bonus is power steering and power brakes. Front suspension has been rebuilt including new ball joints!
