1985 Chevrolet Corvette, all original. Special edition color 2-tone blue outside, blue interior, with blue tinted glass. Original 350 V8 with 700R-4 automatic is fed with Tuned Port Injection. This technology replaced the ill-fated crossfire, and requires no tuning, has never given me any trouble. Removable glass roof. Ice cold A/C. Bose stereo. Included with car are the original build sheet/ window sticker from Bob McDorman Chevrolet in Canal Winchester Ohio, Corvette shop book, wheel locks with tool, original top removal tool, and a wool car cover. This C4 was built with all the options, and everything works, including air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, power seats, and digital liquid crystal dash gauges. It starts, runs, drives, and handles as it should, quite powerful and nimble.

Numbers matching, original paint, always garaged, adult owned. I am the 3rd owner, the first two were my father and his best friend, so it has always been well taken care of in the family. I have had the car personally since 2004, when then it had 48,000 miles. I drive it to work about once a week, and otherwise it sits on a battery tender in my garage under a cover. An annual trip to Kentucky to the Corvette Museum pretty well accounts for the miles. The car has not seen rain in at least 5 years. I have always maintained the car as needed, but maintained it's originality with OEM parts. In the last 3 years, it has received a custom header-back stainless exhaust, new tires, a new headlight motor to cure a "winking" headlight, a new battery, and a couple general tune-ups. Other upfits along the way include new shocks/struts, an r-134 conversion, new distributor and plugs/wires. During tune-ups along the way, gaskets have been replaced, but the engine has always remained in the car in "one piece".

This is a special car not only to my family, but to the era. Most Corvettes of the 80s have either been raced, ridden hard, and parted out or swapped with non-matching parts. Otherwise, the handful left all original have been museum restored and cost ten times what this one does. This car is the best of both worlds, it is driveable at any distance, reliable as I get in it and turn the key and go, plus it is an affordable and attainable muscle car. At about a third of what it sold for new, this is a sure deal. Any other classic like a Challenger, Mustang, Chevelle, or any Ford, Chevy, or Mopar for that matter are selling in all original condition for double to ten times what they sold for new. This one will be sold to the first lucky new owner to present valid funds.
