Vehicle Description

You're looking at automotive royalty taken to the next level. This 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is already a desirable limited-edition speed machine. But this silver bullet has also was given all the right investments to turn the supercharged V8 into an 880 horsepower dominator. Read on because it only gets better.

The Tungsten Gray Metallic is in such great condition that you know it has lived a pampered, garage-kept life. The whole coupe is a great modern representation of what Carroll Shelby did to the original Mustang five decades ago. These cars take the retro-look pony coupes, and make them more aggressive. The blacked-out grille and hood vents make for a perfect dark side to this bright finish. Plus, the handsome chin spoiler has never seen the top of a curb. Just in case the full body dual stripes, lower rocker stripes, spoiler, and bright SVT wheels were not enough subtle hints for others to get out of your way, the Cobra badges on the grille, fenders, and rear gas cap are the perfect announcement about how hard you bite back.

Inside, the black bucket seats might be cowhide leather, but they've got Shelby's trademark snake embossed in them. The seats, door panels, headliner, and carpeting all retain the deep, dark appearance that a cherished muscle machine should. Shelbys came only one way, loaded. This means air conditioning, power windows, power locks, power steering, dual airbags, ABS, power mirrors, keyless entry, cruise control, and power driver's seat are all present and working perfectly. The stereo is the upgraded AM/FM/CD Shaker 1000 unit that pumps out huge power and clear sound. There's even an individually numbered Shelby plaque prominently displayed in the center to always remind you how special this coupe is. And the auxiliary gauges on the top of the dash and A-pillar heighten this special performance feeling. But even with all these features, all you really care about is gripping the leather-wrapped steering wheel in your left hand, placing the GT500 shifter in your right one, and holding on for a speedy adventure.

Under the hood is the original DOHC 5.4-liter V8 engine. And while the fuel-injected motor was already a giant killer right out of the box, this one has had some serious investment added. It now has a Whipple Crusher 2.9L supercharger with polished inlet elbow. Other Whipple upgrades include Super Big Mouth mono-blade 1950 CFM throttle body. But the go-fast goodies don't stop there. This Shelby now also has a JLT 127mm cold-air intake, Bosch 72 lb. injectors, SVT polished aluminum heads, Lightning Force performance aluminum intercooler, and an AFCO performance aluminum radiator. There plenty more components in this package, so call for all the details. But just know that the full upgrades now make an estimated 880 horsepower... and you better believe the roar of the Roush H-pipe performance dual exhaust will let everyone will know your power supremacy. This takes the car beyond Super Snake territory, and so the rest of the package was beefed up, too, to handle the extra power. It starts with the strong Tremec T-6060 six-speed manual transmission that features McLeod RST twin disc clutch and a Steeda Tri-Ax Hurst short throw shifter. This feeds a Ford Racing rear end with 3.73 gears. For control on the road, there's a Steeda Stage 1 drag pack, Eibach Pro-Comp Sport Suspension, Fays2 Watts Link, and Raceland coilovers. It's finished off with a Brembo drilled & slotted four-wheel disc brake package and grippy Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires.

More than a GT500, and more than a Super Snake, this custom is a mean machine. And its superior condition and low mileage tells you it's always been treated with the respect it deserves. Are you ready to charm this custom powerful snake?
