Vehicle Description
An iconic American muscle car that does not need an introduction, the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS. The 1969 Camaro carried over the previous year's drive train and major mechanical components, but all-new sheet metal, except the hood and trunk lid, gave the car a substantially sportier look. This X33 code Camaro does not feature its matching number engine. It is currently sporting a 350ci out of a 1974 Corvette that is connected to a 4 speed Muncie M21 manual transmission and has a 12 bolt posi rear end. It gets supply of fuel thru a Holley 4 bbl carburetor that sits on top of a Holley Contender aluminum intake manifold . To make it sound just as aggressive as it looks, this car comes equipped with dual Flow Master mufflers. Other features under the hood include an updated aluminum radiator, a HEI , electronic distributor, Tri Y headers , Moroso valve covers and power steering. It is stopped by factory power front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. The original black deluxe interior shows wear but features deluxe door panels, factory tach, console with factory rally gauge pack and original seat belts. The black exterior shows aging, Rust is present under the vinyl top just below the rear window as well as the passenger door. The front has it’s iconic hide-away headlights, and factory grille with Z/28 emblem proudly displayed. This Camaro sits on its original 15 inch rally wheels that are wrapped in 235/60/15 Futura GLS Super Sport tires up front and 255/60/15 in the rear. This very desirable true X33 code Camaro is a strong runner which can be enjoyed and driven as is or can be a solid contender for a restoration project which is only going to continue to appreciate in value.
