Vehicle Description
26,535 Original Miles, Preservation Class Example, Extremely Clean, Service Records, Original Tires.THE VEHICLE OFFERED
Here is an extremely rare opportunity to own a preservation class Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. Every aspect of this car is impeccable; paint, leather, carpets, engine compartment and so on. It is literally the cleanest and most original you will likely ever see. It is even wearing the original Michelin tires. The jack still has remnants of the factory rubber band stuck to it, and the tools were still nestled on the foam padding in the same position as originally placed. In fact the entire car is a perfect time capsule of originality.
The more one pours over the car the more they’ll be convinced that this Alfa has had three very gentle and careful owners. The warranty book shows that the car was purchased new from Alfa Romeo of Tacoma DLR # VO6532 on 12/02/1984. It was then sold to the second owner who registered the car 05/1989. A Seattle native, that owner used it as a second car to drive to tennis tournaments. It was never driven in the rain and was always garaged. It shows. The original exhaust is rot free and there isn’t a spot of rust on any of the body panels. The top is original, and without a tear or broken thread. It has the original Tonneau cover, and even a period correct front bra. That owner kept all the accompanying service records including; rear brakes (calipers/discs), and a valve adjustment at 20,167 miles, transmission and differential oil changes along with regular engine oil changes. At 21,909 miles the brake/clutch fluids, and coolant were flushed.
The third owner, a Maserati expert in Renton WA, purchased the car in 02/26/2017. He changed both fuel pumps and the stepped hose at the top of the fuel tanks internal pump. While replacing the in-tank pump, he described the tank and pump pristinely clean. Included with the Alfa are the pristine condition owner’s manual, and the other original dealer regalia including brochures. The original spare wheel and tire look as if they have not seen daylight.
She starts first crank every time. She comes up to temp, and stays there rock solid. Idles like a swiss watch.
