A recent professional restoration, completed in 2011, returned this Raven Black car to its original beauty, while preserving the original dash, instrument panel and steering wheel. Seats were redone with new foam and upholstery in the original colors of black and white. Power seats, power brakes and power windows are all in working order. Seat belts have been added.Original 292 engine was rebuilt about 18 years ago; the transmission was rebuilt in the recent restoration. New front suspension, shocks, new wiring, new fuel tank, lines and fuel pump and various hoses, seals and gaskets were replaced with authentic parts.
This car has been in the same family for over 45 years, taking us for many open air rides. Entry in a parade garnered a 3rd place in the antique car division.
