The 1982 Corvette was the last of the generation that started in 1968, and the chassis that started in 1963. To commemorate the last of the generation, the Collector Edition was produced. This limited run of 6,759 silver/beige corvettes has special trim, a hatchback window, and was the first to exceed a $20K base price.
