Vehicle Description
1968 Ford Torino ConvertibleIn the mid 60s the term full-size meant "FULL"size and mid-sized meant not as big, and that's where the Ford Torino fit into the lineup. Not so big as to require a harbor pilot's license to guide it down the street but big enough to put a few friends in it and enjoy a drive-in movie. Not including those in the trunk. To spice things up the powers that be at Ford created the Torino performance and trim package to compliment the sleek lines of the sheet metal. This one is powered by the correct C Code 200 horse 289 V-8 Engine and a Cruise-O-Matic transmission with column shift and a 2.79 open 8 inch rear end. The black bucket seats are in great shape. This is one is a nicely optioned convertible with a power top, steering and the right engine along with it being in a great color combination. The 2 barrel 289 runs smooth and has complete correct single exhaust system. The top works great and it goes down the road like you would expect it to. The power steering adds to the driving pleasure along with the stylish Chrome GT Wheels and radial tires for a look and road feel that make set it apart. Finished in correct and complimenting interior it looks great too.
