This is not a total “restoration”– no need for that with this truck. This is an amazingly original, rust-free, well-documented survivor, with the original invoice and all the original documentation. It even has the original rare hubcaps, and the rare factory power steering and 4 on the floor.This truck has been meticulously maintained, and runs perfectly. Has never been in a wreck. Recent brake job. Recent restoration of the interior. This is not a dime-a-dozen modified, rodded truck, it’s amazingly original, with original color scheme inside and out.
• C10, 1/2 ton pickup. Bought, and preserved in central Texas all of its life. Manufactured in Flint, Michigan plant. Original factory markings, and handwritten dates from the dealer in 1964 are stll on underside of hood– that match the 1964 invoice.
• Have original purchase invoice (form GM-131), and Warranty card from 1964. Original sales receipt indicates that truck was purchased new from Peterson’s Automotive, GM dealership Kerrville, TX, in 1964, and the receipt lists all original colors of paint, options, engine, etc.
• Step-side, long bed
• Original 230, straight 6 engine, and matching engine # is on the factory invoice. With original carburetor. Only the radiator has been replaced– with a period correct radiator.
• Original factory installed 4 speed on the floor (very strong transmission– you can lay rubber from a dead stop in second gear).
• Original Power Steering from the factory, and that's indicated on the original sales receipt.
• The rear bumper, is original to the truck. This is confirmed by the original sales receipt from the Dealer that lists all the truck's options, both from the factory and dealer add-ons at the time of sale. This black steel bumper is described on the sales receipt as installed by the Dealer at the time of the sale in 1964.
• Original exterior color as confirmed by invoice: GM color #528, “Desert Beige”.
• Original interior color: Fawn, has been restored, with factory original colors
• Original floor mats, and insulation, in great condition
• Original wheels, and hubcaps. Original suspension (shocks have been recently replaced).
• Original seat, recovered recently
• Rust-free. Even the cab corners.

• Current inspection, all systems work perfectly. Will cruise at 70mph, with steering wheel dead straight, with no shimmers, shakes, or rattles.
