Owned by a hardcore VW enthusiast, this wonderful little "Bug" sports a custom shade of green over a very solid body, a new top with a glass window, "old style" bumpers front and rear, a full custom interior, the trunk area has been carpeted, all new weatherstrips were installed at the time of the repaint, and the 1600 cc dual port engine has been rebuilt. All the mechanicals have been attended to as they were needed, so this sweet little V-dub is ready to roll! Recently, it has had new brake linings installed. It runs, drives, steers, and stops well. This is a great collectible car for not a whole lot of money. These air-cooled German cars are easy to work on and most owners can handle simple mechanical fixes by themselves, saving money and feeling a sense of accomplishment in the process!
