It's a wonder why Volkswagen didn't create something like this in the 70s. The exterior and drivetrain are both custom. The high gloss, black paint with custom fenders and taillights will be sure to turn heads at car shows or on the street. The interior is comprised of black, blue and grey racing bucket seats with aftermarket gauges and cosmetic touches. Usually when something is customized to this extent, quality suffers. In this build, this is not the case. Much time and attention to detail was poured into this bug! The Volkswagen is powered by a type 1, 2056CC engine with a manual 4-speed transmission. The car has just 1,986 miles since rebuild. The engine pushes out 255 hp and shifting through the gears couldn't be more fun. The engine is by Chico Performance Racing and is both turbo charged and fuel injected. Other options include: manual sunroof, power windows, custom hood, running boards, and fenders, Corbeau racing seats, Kenwood stereo, Momo steering, Air Technologies air ride suspension, BFG G-Force tires, disc brakes, and much more.
