Vehicle Description
1966 Chevrolet Nova Custom Pro StreetIf muscle cars, a loud rumble, and horsepower are your thing then you are in the right place. Nicknamed "Novacaine" this beautiful 1966 Chevrolet Nova has a great look and the power to back it up. The Chevy II hardtop body is in great shape and nicely coated in a two tone Black Imron over Quick Silver metallic. The paint has a very slick finish with custom pinstriping down the sides and Chevrolet Bowties along the rear fender done in an Electric Blue. The front and rear bumpers are nicely chromed with a very nice shine. The original style headlights and tailights are in place with the SS trim in rear that incorporates custom "Supercharged" emblems. The glass is all in good shape and has a nice tint. The car has a slight forward rake and looks incredibly tough whether it's sitting still or roaring down the road. Billet Specialties wheels are found under all four corners and are wrapped in BF Goodrich G Force Sport tires that have plenty of life left.
It's clear in the pictures that the car obviously has something special going on under the hood and we can assure that blower isn't just for looks. The car is powered by a 355 CI V8 that was professionally built for a street blower. It is a 4 bolt block combined with Dart heads, a 6-71 BDS blower, Moroso valve covers and a ton of chrome. The motor has been detuned for comfortable street driving at 388hp but is capable of producing 800+. The engine compartment has been nicely painted Electric Blue to match the striping on the exterior and is incredibly clean. It truly looks just as good as it performs. Backing the motor is a HD Performance Powerglide transmission with 2500 stall converter that transfers power back to the 12 bolt 355 posi rear end. Disc brakes have been added up front and the entire undercarriage is packed with extensive powder coating and chrome work.
The interior is complete in Black upholstery with Blue piping that looks really good. The front bucket seats are very comfortable and sit to each side of the modified original center console. The dash is painted Black and the Black dash pad is in great shape. The dash utilizes a combo of original style components and incorporates a full Dakota Digital gauges package that looks great. An aftermarket steering wheel sits in front of the driver and has an SS horn button. The trunk of the car is nicely finished out as well with the same style upholstery work.
Everything on the car is very well done and you can tell when you step on the pedal that it was built right. Everything is solid and it performs extremely well.
