1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS in Huron, Ohio

Vehicle Description

1970 Chevelle SS 396/auto matching numbers including transmission. This is vehicle has more factory options than I have ever seen including:

Factory Air
Factory Tilt
Factory Power windows and Locks
Factory Low washer fluid light

She was delivered to the Chevrolet dealer on Water street in Corpus Christi Texas in 1969 and spent half its life in Texas. It spent a few years in New York, and then was sold to a friend of mine in Ohio approxiamtely 20 years ago. In ohio it lived in an airconditioned/heated garage and has not been out in the rain in 20 years.

The original color was forest green, it was professionally repainted in New York to yellow with black stripes. The paint is the only thing that is not bone stock on the vehicle. The engine and transission are original, unmodifed or rebuilt. Engine compression is 175Lbs on all cylinders.

This vehicle has not been through a total restoration. The paint is perfect, undercarriage is clean, small amount of surface rust on the frame, no rust anywhere on the body.

I have the original Chevrolet Sales brochure for this car still sealed in the cellaphane, never opened. The owners manual is in the glovebox.

Nice clean straight car to enjoy as is or a perfect platform to convert to a show winner.
